DESCRIPTION:The Mississippi Jazz Foundation’s 19th Annual “Night of Musical Artistry\,” seeks to promote jazz musicians and jazz education. Committed to building partnerships and cooperating with other like-minded individuals and organization to promote the jazz genre and industry in our culturally rich and diverse state\, the MJF “Annual Night of Musical Artistry” is a fall holiday jazz concert that serves as the organization’s premier fundraising event to provide further support to the promotion of music education\, as well as academic and performing arts\, while honoring those individuals who have made substantial contributions to music and performing arts industry and providing scholarships to deserving students. \n  \nThis year’s Annual Night of Musical Artistry will feature: \nMatt Cappy\, trumpeter\, recording artist\, and educator. \nMichael Burton\, national recording artist and performer. \nHosted by Palmer Williams\, Jr.\, actor\, artist\, and comedian. \n\n\n
